It can be rare to find a bit of nature in Los Angeles, but the L.A. Arboretum is the perfect little spot of paradise! I had such a great time with Alex and Perla exploring the beautiful grounds of the arboretum and capturing their engagement in so many stunning spots. I loved my time with this couple, capturing their engagement photos at the Los Angeles Arboretum.

LA Arboretum Engagement Photos | Engagement Session Location Ideas

The Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden is a unique 127-acre botanical garden and historical site located in what was the heart of the historic Rancho Santa Anita in the city of Arcadia. From the tropical jungle to forests and waterfalls, the arboretum is a perfect choice for couples wanting variety in their engagement photos. A few things to know about the venue are the photography rules. A photography permit costs $75 and tickets for entry are $15 each. You can easily purchase online, but make sure to check with your photographer first because the tickets are timed! This venue doesn’t allow for an outfit change, but Alex and Perla made it work. They opted for comfortable neutral outfits that were versatile and perfect for each environment.
