One of my favorite parts about being a Southern California couples photographer is that I get to be a part of those special moments and travel to gorgeous beaches to celebrate your love! Being able to easily access tons of beaches and capture beach couples photos in Encinitas with stunning couples like Leahana and Aydan truly make my “job” a dream come true!
LEAHANA + AYDAN’S STORY
They met in their hometown one summer when Aydan was home from the Marines recruiting. They are both from the country side of New York. These two have been long distance for over two years but they love to be outside as much as they can! This makes total sense why they chose to go with Swami’s Beach in Encinitas for their playful beach couples session.

BEACH COUPLES PHOTOS TURNED SURPRISE PROPOSAL
Aydan ended up PROPOSING during our beach couples photoshoot! I actually had no idea he was planning on doing this during our couples session because he didn’t want the surprise to be ruined by trying to get my contact info through his girlfriend! SO sweet!!
I used the prompt called “sneak attack” where she is facing me and the guy runs up and grabs the girl from behind and he seized the opportunity and proposed on the beach! It was such a beautiful surprise!!
