Planning your wedding can be both such a fun and intimidating process. You have to pick a venue, colors, bridal party, decor, vendors, and so many other little details! One thing you don’t want to worry about is vendors who ghost you. As a wedding vendor, here are a few tips to try out if you feel like your wedding vendor isn’t getting back to you!

1. Follow up!
If this is a vendor that you really want to work with, don’t be afraid to follow up! Sometimes we get busy between other photoshoots, weddings, etc. If you inquire on a Friday evening, we may not even see your inquiry until Monday morning. So give us some time and then just follow up. You can even do this through another method like messaging them on social media or send a separate email.

2. Check your contact info
Make sure you put in the correct contact info! There have been many times that I have tried sending an email and a letter was misplaced or something was misspelled and the email would not go through. I also have my clients put in their phone number for their contact info as a back up, but not all vendors do this. If our only contact info for you is incorrect, then we won’t be able to reach out. This is why it can be good to follow up in case we don’t have a means to get in contact with you!

3. Check your Spam Folder!
Probably one of the most important things is to check your spam folder! Many vendors use a third party site for their inquiries to keep everything organized and when we send emails through those sites, sometimes your email provider will flag those as spam. It’s always good to check there first if you haven’t received a response within a couple of days.
